Yeah, I found out why the photos are so soft- Because I had noise reduction on! Anyways, I went out again today changed my settings, and the results have improved- So stay tuned for some more pictures!

if you live a few minutes away you would have heard it, ohmy.gif tongue.gif will upload some shots when i get them off the phone. the DC 4 here at Archerfield is going to fly out at christmas, i wil let you know, might be able to get you airside with your flash camera to get some really good shots!!!

Few Minutes is probably an exageration, 7 mins by car I think.. tongue.gif

Oh how I love the DC-4! I always have a good look at it when I fly at YBAF. That would be awesome if you could get me airside! smile.gif Any ideas where its off to?

Thanks Anthony, I think your right there. I spose practise makes perfect, I just have to keep fiddling!

yep, HARS has taken it over, they are restoring her to flying condition. then flying her down to NSW for a complete rebuild, good to see her going to them. how do you fly through? RQAC, Gil Layts, Airline Acadamy? Flight Training Aust? chances are we may have meet or seen each other!!

I dont think ive run into you Jason. I havnt flown since 2006 tongue.gif

I used to fly through Arena Aviation, which is now AV8, on the corner near the fuel depot. I did like 5 TIFs there in the PA-38.

Ah that explains it, the DC4 would have been flying cargo runs back then. what a/c if you can remember the rego, properly still around the field somewhere. i am in the fuel depot, shell and mobil (which is now in the middle of the field)
