And Phil Taylor suggests Carenado won't be the last developer to exclusively support the new sim... http://blogs.msdn.com/ptaylor/archive/2008...ws-for-fsx.aspx

Well they have produced many FS9 aircraft which should keep us happy for a while.
There will be more and more taking this move soon. Wonder who else will follow.
Another thing off the website...

Was pretty likely to happen in the end I guess.
Progress is progress.
Current products are good anyway and will stick around:

The company is not developing FS2004 compatible aircraft any more. But will maintain its current FS2004 fleet as it is.[/quote]

The fact that they are making their existing products fully FSX featured won't make me move - now if they bought something new out like a Cessna 185 and only offered it in FSX...........

Its good to see they can see the advantage of only making FSX aircraft like nemeth bros made along time ago,if every developer made this change then we would see the world fsx expand and more users moving on to the improved platform..
i really dont see the point making something that will only be around for a short amount of time before they make a new platform and everything before FSX will be gone ,seems a big waste of time to me and sad if youve been waiting for something forever and it wont work ever again after FSX

Progress is progress.

You are right... This will happen one day with all major addon makers.
