JAG Air Pitts

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Almost...Master Eagle Skinner Chris B will play with it a few days more, he reckons.
Meantime I have to decide whether to drop a Pitts sign on the tail of the beast despite it being a Christen Eagle:

Here's the real thing BTW, Chris has it pretty much as good as you'll see I reckon.

Wow that looks rather nice and - pretty hard to see the difference between the Eagle and Pitts (they come from the same factory now anyway) - I am surprised Chris did an FS9 repaint! - must dust the Eagle off.

Check this out. They want a Pitts pilot on the Beta team too.

Andy I spoke to Chris earlier in the week, he's been busy he tells me, but is hoping to upload the repaint as soon as he gets a chance.
I'd email it to you, but it's nigh on 8MB... sad.gif

It was a special request after I flew in JAG, and I'm very grateful to Chris for taking it on.
I know he has plans to use it for FSX as well...

Sorry 'bout the delays folks, really I am... Job interviews, three active commercial Betas and one in developement, two freeware projects and a "call to duty" as simflight "Front page deputy underling".

I will get the JAG paint out very soon - in DXT3 and DXT5 formats. It's all ready to go...

OK... look for zkjag.zip in the FS9 paints file library. (give them a while to go active with it)

I hear the pleas to put "Pitts" on the tail, but I won't go into copyright risks. It's a Christen. Besides - I am working on a Pitts paint with other potential models.

hi guys,

New challenge for anyone interested! I have recently purchased an S1 with a mate, here is a photo of it. Obviously you will need more detailed shots, however it is currently undergoing a full re-bag and completely new paint scheme. I have an S1S, S1-11B, S2A/B/C on FS2004, but none of them have the correct handling although they look and fly very well. They all handle like a super monoplane (I have flown an Extra), which isn't correct. Should be a bit more like the Christen Eagle that I have, in other words, very direct and responsive, with a good feel for neutral, unlike the Extra which is very differcult to find neutral in the rolling plane.

Anyway, here is a photo of our machine as it is currently.

regards,

Andy
