I think it would just like normal TS servers.Last edited by Yak52aholic on Sun Jul 20, 2008 5:25 pm, edited 1 time in total.Let the music be your master... Will you heed the master's call?

Even on a relatively good broadband connection, this just won't work well if you have more than three or four people on simultaneously, as *all* the traffic (in both directions) is forced down your connection. I've tried it, and you end up using very high compression CODECs - and we all sounded like Donald Duck!
You can get away with it (just) - but not if you want to do anything online yourself (eg. FS multiplayer) which is often the whole point of using Teamspeak
I have loads of server space available - but it's shared *web* hosting. I'm not too sure that they'd let me run other applications. These days, most server providers are paranoid about security so they tend to control everything and only allow customers limited access - usually by Control Panels etc. (whose overall privileges they can control).
As far as I remember from my IL-2/PCF online days, the people at Inspire were really friendly and helpful. They may welcome NZFF as a group - and be delighted to set up a dedicated channel for us.Last edited by Adamski on Sun Jul 20, 2008 5:48 pm, edited 1 time in total.

so about a hour and then ill buy if there is no hassle that i dont see and you guys point out ...
trolly i see you are on now what ya think dude ?
Just looking at that page ... when it says "User Limit" does that mean total members/users or number of *simultaneous* users allowed?
creator2003 wrote:QUOTE (creator2003 @ Jul 20 2008, 06:09 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>is the part you mean ,it does say unmetered above under plans and thats what i think im paying for with each slot ?
That just means you won't be charged extra for the *total* traffic. However - I think you can tweak the TS server settings for total allowable bandwidth *at any one time* so that it automatically uses a lower resolution Codec if the [throughput] limit is approached.
I think the "User Limit" still needs to be explained though. I suspect that though you can set up as many *accounts* as you like, only (say) 15 of them are allowed on at any one time. This would make sense, as (say) 500 simultaneous users would consume massive amounts in traffic terms.
