Looking at Laptops

The place to ask for help or solve each others technical issues and discuss hardware

Brownbox, Daniel got a Compaq laptop - read the thread winkyy.gif
Laptops may be business/student oriented but there certainly is such a thing as a gaming laptop, see Alienware and Voodoo PC as examples of this.

Might have to book in with the government or University of Canterbury or somewhere like that to get some FS11 time in.

Yer but it can be really expensive.
Last time I checked Telecom wanted 5 cents per kilobyte for WAP browsing!
If you've got a phone with a proper internet browser (iPhone for example, or something similar) then you can get data plans which are a bit better priced.
The experience isn't the same anyway.

Now $0.01 per Kilobyte (for prepaid - contract rates might differ...). winkyy.gif

Yea, still not a very economical way of browsing - though if you're on the run and hanging out for some NZFF... tongue.gif
