Anyone keen on some multiplayer?

For everything about online flying around New Zealand

Postby Alex » Fri Jul 11, 2008 11:51 pm

Hey guys,

I'll probably go on Inspire about 7:30-8pm tomorrow (Saturday) night if anyone else is keen to hop on - if not I'll just buzz around. plane.gif

No idea where - unless someone else comes up with something smart I'll just pick a location off the top of my head. laugh.gif

I've never done any multiplayer in MSFS (only in the combat sims - Falcon4, IL-2 etc.) - is there a thread here somewhere that explains what you can do and what's involved? Is Teamspeak required?

I'll be up for that smile.gif
I've just grabbed a huey. Had a wee practice run tonight and I am definitely a tad .. wobbly.
I don't have any preferences for where, and I may not be able to get on before 8pm.

Yeah theres a dummys guide found here DUMMYS GUIDE TO MP
also teamspeak is good to have mate it really does help but is not a must though, but there are not many ppls that will type while flying around unless they have four hands ,i general dont type to people on the sim until i land and its usually only to tell them where im of to next ,so if you want the realism of chatting away its a really good idea to go buy a cheap headset with mic ,the beginners guide to TS is HERE
anyway ill see how im going tomorrow and see if i can come for the flight also the guys on TS will be able to help you out if you get stuck getting online with the server ..

one more thing if you are using FSX you will need FShost client pretty much the thing that will connect you to fs2004 servers and many more just do a Goggle search 4 it

Lets start off somewhere interesting - how about Mt. Cook (NZMC)? A small enough airfield to make it feel crowded (laugh.gif), nice location, and in the middle of everything (mostly...). smile.gif

Heaps of fun guys, thanks to all who came on - we ended up going from Mount Cook to Invercargill, via Wanaka, Queenstown (all except Mike), and Manapouri. smile.gif
