Was in Christchurch for a meeting today and had time to go and test drive a car before the flight home.
You just cant take a photo of a car without and aeroplane in the background.

That memorial is similar to the one in Hamilton.

There's another thread for car discussion. Way to probably offend Gavin, I believe he's just bought one.

Doesnt bother me, everyone is entitled to there opinion but a good way to form an opinion is to actually drive one.
Very nice car, prefer the Spitfire.
Havent bought the car but am seriously thinking about it, took the car for a test drive and knew the right spot to get a photo that was just a bit different.
Have one more Holden and another Ford to test before making a decision.

If the photo of the car makes you sick, thats sad if a car brand makes you feel that bad might pay to only drive at night so you cant see the cars ninja.gif

Off topic, sorry about that, I liked the photo as it was a bit different

Naki, if i get it and you are in town you are more than welcome to a spin.

Hey - most here would agree that we love your pics even those that aren't of aircraft.

Gavin - have you tried the new Turbo Falcon (XR6T or the FPV model)? - I have read in the numerous car magazines I get that this is the best handling Aussie car ever - and very quick to boot - probably quicker than the V8. You should check those out before deciding. Wheels & Motor raves about them - latest Motor has the Turbo beating the V8 Commodore (which is also a very nice).

The FPV model is the F6 and is the last Ford I am driving before making a call.

The F6 would save you a bit of gas too for not much (if any at all) performance loss.
Also remember there are some Aussie tuning companies that will sell you an XR6 Turbo but one that is quicker than an F6- they do nearly every Aussie made car. I was reading a Wheels mag a while ago where a company called Starr was selling a 335 kw Holden Adventra for less than the 270kw HSV one- that might save you a bit of money too.
