Haven't had much joy with fencing. Either it slows frames rates or it 'shimmers' as seen from a taxying aircraft. Maybe I'll leave it out?

You could always add it to the download in a separate folder called "Optional Files", with instructions on where to put the files for those that want to use them.......

I'll have a go at putting them in. Yeah...I could have a zipped scenery bgl with no fencing so that it would be easy to swap.

if your having problems tranperence in FS9 , you could make simple line models that don't interfer , but also have further depth ( distance ) to make the area feel inclosed

I just took a short flight around your Hastings scenery. Very, very nice and it shows no problem with the 75 - mesh as that is what I am using.

Keep up the good work. I fly NZ a lot and appreciate the efforts of those that create these master pieces for our enjoyment. Along with Snowman's work and now yours, I say, Thank you!!!

great, looks very well laid out and gives a good feel for the place, i used to be there alot in my old days!!
In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.

Many thanks for your nice comments. Yeah...Hastings really needed to be done - it's very interesting scenery-wise.

Sorry, Daniel, no chicks in this one...heh heh...but there is a Tui delivery van in the update at Avsim..filename= hastings_update_1.zip

Cheers,

Definately a very nice little scenery Godfrey. A huge improvement over the old original you did quite some time ago.
Well done mate !! clapping.gif

Chers, Lawrie. Pleased its working ok. My next project...hmmm...perhaps I might read up on scenery object design and do some NZ people, (more birds, (not the feathered variety) , politicians, etc etc).

Thanks Goff, good stuff.

After installing, I rushed in to have a look, and clicked on Cape Kidnappers by mistake. For a moment or two (till I sorted out my muckup) I thought you might have had to go back to the drawing board.... tongue.gif

All sorted now and pleased to have filled another hole in the Microsoft default scenery desert. New_Zealand_etc.gif

Have yet to have a decent fly around but it looks pretty good to me.....tks again.
