Hi everyone, I've made it back from the USA ok, and now trying to catch up on work, and sleep.
I have a great many aviation photos taken on my journey, so if you are at a loose end, and on broadband tongue.gif you might like to check them out.

What you'll see in a nut shell:

KLAX - Los Angeles
On route to KELP- El Paso, Texas

Here I visited my very good flight simmer friend, and stayed with him on Fort Bliss army base, so there is plenty of military hardware to see.

We toured through southern New Mexico, so you'll see a bit of that, inc White Sands national monument, and white sands missile testing base (where I could actually take photos).

Also in New Mexico, the War Eagles Aviation museum, so plenty of photos of their numerous warbirds, including Migs!

And finally I headed home on Southwest Airlines again, and stopped in at Phoenix - KPHX for an hour and got photos there as well.

Enjoy

By the way, if you can name the plane in the photo I took a picture of, I'm sure the museum would love to hear from you! biggrin.gif

Bet you're glad to be back on the ground...thanks for sharing those.
Astonishing to think the Nighthawk is obsolete now - think the last 4 were about to be permanently packed away around now.

The USA pioneers were very interested in many French designs .. The Voisin'L' type 1to 6 ..I found a photo of the V-LA type 3 , those days , designs were so much a signature like todays Boeing,s , I'm sure its a Voisin , more research

Surprised the Museum did not put forward the name as a starting point ?

I would have guessed not, when it says "can you help us identify it?"

No, they don't know what it is, so I'm sure they'll be pleased to find out biggrin.gif
Sorry Daniel I missed your question. The worst flight was NZAA-KLAX, as it was very rough (threw my drink off my tray) but the rest were excellent. Southwest were excellent, and right on time. I have added a B735 abd B737-700 to my list of aircraft now too biggrin.gif
Thanks for your comments all

Would be very interesting to find out what the mystery plane was.
Be nice if one of the people in the picture were still alive.
Good to hear you had good flights, I haven't heard a bad thing about Southwest yet.

Thanks for your comments guys biggrin.gif @Alex, Brad was very cool, we got on great and can't wait to see him again one day.
Southwest were great too, I had great flights and the staff were great. Was cool to see the Captain out in the aisles helping the crew clean the aircraft for the next flight!
