Nice list of airports in the making.
Are your future ones going to be photoreal?
Hasn't Westpost got a new terminal now? Any chance of an update?

Some of my future ones MAY have photoreal buildings. NZHN Hamilton Airport WILL HAVE photoreal buildings.

Yes,,, Westport has just completed construction of a new terminal building, and a few other changes around the airport.
I have some pics etc of the new building, and i MAY get around to an updated "version-2".

Lots of other stuff in the que ahead of doing any updates i want to do.

Hey Lawrie,

I think the pacific wings magazine had an article with pictures in it.
I might be able to get some pictures from them if you wanted to do a version 2.

Cheers

Hi Daniel.
Yes please, if you can scan the pics, reduce them to about 1024x768 in size, zip them up and e-mail them to me.

Next up for New Zealand will be Oamaru Airport, NZOU. Its 95% complete, and will be up on Avsim within the week.

Overseas,..... im working on Bauerfield-Port Vila International Airport, Vanuatu, NVVV.
This scenery will also contain airports for Forari NVVJ, and Quoin Hill NVVQ as well. Its about 85% complete.

Also working on Kone Airport, New Caledonia, NWWD, and its about 50% complete.

Fielding - might have to download that as some of my family live there.
Matamata should be good as are all the other sceneries you make.

Sorry to say,........... the NZHN Scenery project for FS9 using Photoreal buildings has been abandoned at the request of the man (the owner) who did the work in putting together the buildings themselves.
A sad turn of events, but i must, and will, comply with his wishes.

Still,............ plenty of other NZ airport projects on my "to-do" list to finish off.

Yes they had been done but are no where upto the standard i like anymore so seeing they hadent been placed and couldnt be placed in the time frame i asked for i pulled them all together ,i dont support FS9 and would like to do a new one at the time i decided and release
to understand if you dont already this is my work with my name on it "art" so if i think i can do better i will and will use the skills i have now to do so to release the best version i can in the future ..
if some else wants to do the area while im busy thats fine but i will be doing one at some stage if i still think the need is there for it to be done ...
I know some mite think this is unfair of me to pull this project but you dont sit here designing day in day out and you dont have to put your name to it ,i think at the end of the day i put 100 odd hours in to those models not including the time in research and i feel they are not up to the quality im trying to achieve with future work and as of yesterday i made the decision if they werent placed by the end of the week by lawrie that they would never be seen again and seeing lawrie has alot of work on with other things and was still only 50% done on it ,its worked fine for me to pull it ...

its only one Airport outta of the many ive given and have done so im sure you guys can let me of the hook and understand the above ...

That is a shame Mike and Lawrie sad.gif - I still have photoreal NZHN at the top of my wishlist in bold italics! As I have unlimited access to the airport I guess there is but one thing for me to do....... and that's put my money where my mouth is and get some scenery together. Don't get too excited yet folks, I have an 8 month old at home and a wife that does not share my passion for flight sim. I will also have to learn 3d modelling in order to get the photoreal buildings together, which I'm sure will be a steep learning curve. If you can wait I'm sure I can put something suitable together........ maybe....... possibly a BIG maybe.........

Ah i think you have got the wrong end of what i was saying there ,i will be doing the scenery as i said to you in the period i stated when we where out taking the photos ,its just i have a job on at the moment and cant stop doing that to spend time on this even though i would love too ,
the scenery will be done and to the highest quality i can do just wasn't going to put up with the old stuff that i made and want to update it with the photos we grabbed that day ,plus and i wasnt going to say anything but i was getting sick off waiting for the 2004 version to come out when i gave the objects up nearly 6months ago to be placed and nothing really had happen to or with them ,
if they had been placed back then or in between the fs2004 version would all be on your systems now and this wouldnt be happening ...
now there are links i think to these objects around here as a beta and im not stopping anyone using them for there own use just stopping people uploading them as scenery for Hamilton with my name on the objects i find horrible now ..

Be 100% sure ill be making the Hamilton city and Airport when i finish the jobs im on now all i was asking is to wait unless you want to do it yourself with your own objects and time etc and release it to everyone in a faster time than i can do it all ..
I said ill do it i will winkyy.gif

So is anyone else going to make the new buildings or is it abbanded completely?
Anyway it should give you a chance to get some other projects completed.
