Before I install it (it won't be till next week)

Can anyone post some before voz and after voz shots from around Australia (and New Zealand with VOZ on)?

Cheers,
Kelburn

side note, Brisbane airport is now fully AES compliant, about time some airports down this way were, heres hoping more come about. i personally liked voz, just didn't like the change the whole world thing, but i can live with it, makes a huge difference this side of the ditch, makes nz a bit greener, with slightly more realistic treees, not by much though

In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.

When you install VOZ, it installs it for the whole world- But there are just different versions for North, West etc for when your flying in Australia. Eg- If I install North to fly in Queensland, the same will be installed for the whole world, so it will look the same in New Zealand, Canada, England etc. I think thats how it works

Specific Changes in the new version?

Dude just download and install it ,you can always un voz it with the switcher it has ,before i moved on the FSX i had it installed fine and all the old problem of the older Voz where gone ,just remember there is a VOZ switcher that comes with it and you just voz north south etc ...
at the end of the day you are wasting your time asking people when you could do these tests yourself and also like mentioned you could just visit voz forums and search for the pic you want ,,
perth brown un voz,,,VOZed with VOZ looks heaps better so install it..

ps New Zealand looks the same with it installed ,plus thats what the switcher is for turn off or on

I know how to use it but I've got no time to install it to the weekend thus I wish to have preview of the differences I'll get.

1) Take a screenshot of 'Un-voz'ed' Perth.
2) Install VOZ- takes about 10 mins max
3)Take a screenshot from the same place with voz.

There's your before and after shot. rolleyes.gif

It is great news that AES is coming to all these airports.
The developers should be heartily supported, and rewarded for their labours, one way or another.

I find it troubling that some would want stuff handed to them, without too much effort on their part...
I'm assuming you two are not just yanking our chain, here?

I can't understand why people are so reluctant to share screenshots with you Tui, but here are a few of my old VOZ pics taken with previous versions. The most up to date installer is VOZ 1.7, and the only differences are more textures, airports/ city buildings and fixes for previous issues thumbup1.gif

Fiordland with VOZ Northern Textures:

South Island Mountains:

Perth:

Rural Western Australia:

Adelaide:

Coolangatta:

New South Wales back country:

Tamworth, one of the many photoreal areas included as part of VOZ:

Melbourne:

More screenies, including some more of mine, here: http://vistaoz.org/media.html

You get the base pack free though, and most freeware airports that work with it you don't need credits for- try FreeZ Zurich from Avsim, or Salzburg, Austria from the same site.

Yeah, but not pushback (to the line), food vehicles, baggage deloader things, a little man who tells you where to go, a follow me vehicle that goes to the selected gate...........

cheers for the screenies.
(people must be like me - if someone asked I'd probably only do it if I had FS up and running) but hey.

The textures do look good.

I like the rural perth
