Engine Noise

I'm tinkering with some AI gliders, which use a motor glider .air file.
Unfortunately they all go Brrrrrr...
Is there a way to shut off the engine sound, without affecting any other performance parameters?

Try removing the references to the .wav files in that aircrafts sound.cfg?

Mmm AI doesn't generally have sound (or panel) folders.
They default to the main sound folder and use files like ai_singleprop03.wav, for example, depending on engine type.
Sure, you could replace one of the sound files with wind noise, but then all the single prop AI would do that.
I was hoping to create a new engine type, and have just the sound of the whistling wind for the gliders...
