Pakatoa Island

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Postby Goff_nznr » Thu Jun 12, 2008 3:45 pm

Just wondered if anyone is interested in my rendition of Pakatoa Island, [4.60mb approx]. For 75-mesh - probably unsuitable if you have the NZ topo or the 20-mesh. I built up the hills with 'FSTflatten' - which is, I guess, the reverse of what this program is meant to do. It's available at HERE for a limited time.

Cheers,

Goff

Just a note to say that I shall be reworking my sceneries - including Pakatoa Island - to fit the 20m mesh. I've just ordered Christian Stock's "Combo Scenery of New Zealand" from Sim Pilot.

Aha....Christian's mesh and topo is brilliant. After the install, I discovered that my previous version of Pakatoa Island was, in fact, placed on a neighbouring island. That shows you how accurate this new mesh is.

Here's a simple version to get ya goin' - just a few houses, a jetty and AI float parks.

Available at Fabnet for a limited time.

Cheers,

Goff
