I have a pair of these and have found them to be VERY comfy and affordable.

http://bondandbond.resultspage.co.nz/searc...ahs322&pID=

and these guys sell them even cheaper.

http://www.esound.co.nz/catalog/product_in...products_id/394

There are cheap $20 pairs out there but it's worth paying an extra $10 or so as they will last alot longer and be more comfortable.

Cool I was looking at some DSE modle ones and a few others saw one pair for a very high $75.00.

Yeah, We will start of in Hokitika as that is where we landed last time. great to hear you going for some headphones, it's so much better with them.

Great to hear you may be bringing the Bristol B-170. We need someting to take all the wheelchairs in. Good move!

Madgery and Jim enjoying some complimentary sauce from the Pilots.

Hey ummm I don't want to sound mean or rude but are you mocking those old folks? laugh.gif

Does anyone mind if I fly a Yak-18T? I'll have to get a few pre-flights in because on that model the realism is very good and I'm not up to scratch on the procedures for it.

Thought it might be a good idea to confirm if you are going to be on so we don't hang around forever at Hokitika.

So i'm thumbs up and ready! thumbup1.gif 8:30PM

Anybody else joining for tonight? Just wanted to clarify that we follow no flight rules as such and that it is just a fun night. You do not have to worry that you don't know how to talk with the atc, there is none.

Instuctions on how to fly OUR multi-player night.

1.flaps
2.throttle
3. take off
4. wheels up

If you can do this, then please join.

NB: Before joining on the server, please read the above numbered steps thoroughly.

Hey Paul, I think we have to change our marketing strategy if we want to make them fly with us...lol

Hey guys, wine is not mandatory, it can be beer or any other spirit! If your under 18 i would suggest RedBull!

I was afraid for the first time, but it's easier than to connect to vatsim. My hands were shaking back then... smile.gif

Come on, you won't regret.

Some comments on last night's flight:

What a crazy crowd of flies buzzing around!!!! smile.gif That was huge. My CPU just melt down... Now I can see the limitations of multiplayer mode:
5-10 fps, comunication problems, landing, take off order etc. I loved that anarchy!

Cheers all

Yeah, it was great to see so many people there. It is great to have just a bit of fun flying around and talking about our planes, problems and such. We can learn so much more by talking over the net about what addons we have and how to overcome our problems that we faced.

I also think that we could have one night for a more simulated flight so that we can enjoy procedures and learn from each other.

By having multi-player nights we have a more club like feel to our group. Last night we were all a little unsure as to what procedure 'fun or serious' we should follow, but by continuing to meet up and seperating them we can please both groups.

I had a great night, and was happy to see our own NZFF'ers flying around. Daniel (gojozoom) and i continued on from Westport to Lake Station and then called it a night. Thanks again to all that came and hopefully will see you again soon.

Great to hear from you again Mike. I hope you had another enjoyable flight over in Aussie. I also liked your Gold Coast photos. Good one!!! Paul. groupwave.gif

I'm off to Whangarei this weekend to judge the cocktail comps up there so unfortunately i wont be able to fly this weekend . Would be keen for a flight next week, maybe mon, tues or wednesday. So if anyone is keen on what they would like to do please post your suggestions.

I was thinking a sea plane or flying boat of some sort would be good as their are heaps of lakes down in the South Island.

Here is a list below. So if you don't have one, check out the list and then have a look on the freeware sites.

See you! wink.gif

I'll give it a go maybe. I might go Wlg-Chc low level in a 737-200. Have a little fun biggrin.gif

EDIT: Or maybe a race around YSSY (Decent default scenery there) in the F1 cars shown here?
