I'm working on it, here are some WiP shots. Any comments so far?
Jan Kees

Excellent JK!
Is the tail insignia a bit small?
Looking at Trolly's pic, it seems to span the whole fin...
(Having said that, I'd prefer it to look the same as the other Harvards already done ;) )
And, Ian's right, a bit of weathering would lend some authenticity - she's a tatty old bird...

Looks great so far :) Definately needs a bit of weathering (Derek aint too worried about how it looks, its all about the actual flying... usually there is plenty of oil and crud built up on her)
Maybe the port-side intake is a lil bit dark, but hey :)

My vote is that's enough!
Don't want the formation to fly along all pristine, and poor ol' 91 sticking out like a sore thumb! >buck<

One more guys, the lovely NZ1066 aka ZK-ENE, in a well-presented US Navy scheme:

I have a couple of snaps of lettering etc if that helps?

BTW, this young lady's for sale if you're keen.... B-)

Saw her in PP last Sun after WOW. Stopped off by the airport, after seeing a whole group of people standing on the hill, 'aving a chin wag and watching the Harvard. I thought it would be flying right overhead as all other A/C were using 34, but just my luck, it taxied out onto the RW and took off away from me on 16 <_<

Already started, but snaps of the lettering etc will be helpful, because I have no idea what those white letters are saying...

I beg to disagree. I am impressed with the current generation of FSX Alphasim rleases, I have their Osprey, Harvard, Hudson, Sabre, and b-36, I am eagerly awaiting thier C-17 and FSX upgrade c-5 and C-141. For my money they are good value

Probably a post from earlier in this thread... This is an excellent place to use the "quote" tool. :wink2:

I talked to the fella at Wanaka that day, reckoned he'd let that harvard go for about $230k if I remember correctly.

here are a few shots of my first attempt. I may have gone a bit overboard on the shine, and there's still quite a few details to be sorted..any news on those detailed shots?

I think the shine is cool!
I mean, if you're going to ######-paint a Harvard to look like a T-6, anything goes...
Jankees, maybe you should PM Zac for the closeups in case he's out there in Warbird land and misses the post.

Looking good JK , you might want to tweek the alpha channel down a bit the cost in polish would be just to much :) , the stencil close to the tail wheel would be the model type/contr's no's /serial , and stencil close to the cockpit is basic open other in emergency, i'll look though plans and stencils that may help . the little green label would be AIR BP transfer .. as Charl mentioned contact K5054NZ(Zac) for the photo to work with extra rivet detail , i'll dig up what i have and send PM ya ... :)
