Thanks again Lawrie, the gaps are slowly being filled.

One question........... :rolleyes:

On taking off at Hawera, I discovered an unfortunate effect that I have previously noticed in the Coromandel scenes where there is a boundary fence.

I find that if the runway is short, I am having a "building crash" effect when clearing the fence by approximately 2 to 3 metres. Obviously this also happens when trying to land short by coming in low over the end boundary fence. Obviously I can solve the problem by removing the fence but at the moment it is somewhat un-realistic. Is there any fix for this effect ?

If needed I could supply a "screenie" but this would only show my Cessna stopped in mid air, some metres above the fence. :wub:

tks Bazza.

Offhand, i would have to say no,...i cant really think of any "fix" to this, other than turning OFF crash detection.
Strange,.............. i havnt had this happen,........... might have to investigate a little more,..................

I should have thought of removing the crash mode. Have done this now and it solves the problem, doesn't seem "right and proper" though.

When I experienced this "fence crash I was using a secondary runway, not the main one.

I just tried using the main "load up" runway to check the fences, but before I could get to them......ooops, look what happened. :arrr:

I'll go and look in those nice sheds you provided and see if you've left a chainsaw in there..... :lol:

Try copying and pasting the following exclude line to the bottom of Hawera's entry in the main FS9 scenery.cfg file.......

Exclude=S39 32.91,E174 15.88,S39 33.01,E174 16.02,objects

Dont forget to SAVE it before you exit the cfg file !!

I made this exclude using pure guesswork, just going by the location of the trees in your pic.
I dont have the trees there in my sim...................
