Posky B744 V4

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Postby gw54 » Mon Mar 17, 2008 6:11 pm

Not sure if anyone can help. I've downloaded V4 (Air New Zealand) and all was fine until I attempted to load a better panel. With a new panel the nose gear is now of centre by about 45deg and the main gear outboards are in a configuration to be expected if the aircraft as if it is airborne.

Has anyone else come across this at all?

How are you installing it(the panel)? Have you edited anything in the aircraft file?

How did you change the panel? Just by copying into the 'panel' folder, or by fiddling around with the aircraft.cfg or...? :)

Just basically dumped a new panel in to replace the defaultone. What changes would I need to make to the config file or can i just cut and paste?

What panel is it?
No it is a delete the (original/the one thats there) panel folder then put the new one in, making sure it is also called "panel" without the quote marks.
Is it just that aircraft or are there any others doing the same?

Just this one. I always delete the default panels and look for a really good replacement. For the 744 it's one of Chris Jeanne's. I've followed the same process I've used previously and this is the only time I've had a problem

Its 2004. I've attached the panel cfg for you to look at. Also an apology, it's a Marco spada panel

I would now suggest re downloading the aircraft. I would say there is an error with the a/c itself, not the panel
