After reading about how to make your own pedals here, I don't understand what this "pot" is, this guy is talking about. Anyone know? Also, if I were to make some homemade pedals, does this particular guide sound good/make sense? and it could just be me, but does it actually tell you how to wire it up and stuff?
Anybody know of any other homemade pedal designs?

They refer to a potentiometer (pot), which is a device that regulates current or amps across a preset range dependent where the position of the stick is. It twists like a throttle on a motorbike.

Go to www.dse.co.nz and search for potentiometer. Heaps there!
