Uninstall Auckland 2005, install this:

http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Search...&CatID=root
Same thing without static A/C

Hi Nick,
But do you not need Auckland 2005 installed to then install "real?

You need Auckland 2005 installed first, otherwise, you will have no Auckland city, (unless you have Real NZ Auckland city installed (payware)

Brainwave  , look in your addon scenery, do you have 2 folders, one called Auckland 2005 and one called Auckland Airports?

The update is THIS

But for it to work you have to have Auckland 2005 already installed (I can't find the link at the moment,.......anyone feel free to post it please :) )
OR
Have REAL NZ AUCKLAND CITY (Payware) already installed

Do you have REAL NZ AUCKLAND CITY?

No, that is not the update. That is a separate scenery package designed to fit into RealNZ Auckland City. Completely separate, you don't want to have both going at the same time probably...

The update to Auckland 2005 is here. I believe it only stops your wheels from sinking into the tarmac, and the permanent static aircraft (I assume you've already removed the removable ones) do remain there after that update. ;)

No problem at all Nick, sorry if I came across as a bit brusque there, that wasn't the intention at all. So hard to get the right 'feeling' across with the message... :)

Alex

Edit: You have a bit of a dilemma here Nunner. You could either have Auckland City, as well as Static Aircraft (Auckland 2005). Or no Static Aircraft, but no Auckland City (Download Nick posted there  )... Note that you can have one or the other; as far as I know you can't make the best of the two worlds with this one... ;)

Thats fine, I know all about it. After I posted my message I wondered if you might take it the wrong way. Smilies can help though. :D

Hi Alex,
A bit of a dilemma is right. What I have now done is un-installed it all and have just re-installed Auckland 2005 which has the exclude
folder to remove the statics. Even when I add both files to the scenery library it all remains the same?
Help?

This is going back in time a little...look in the scenery folder for anything with the words "Static" in a bgl file and remove it.
Think the exclude was to remove whatever was left after that.

Will give it a go later, all this has come about because I had to remove it all and then re-load etc and as you say
I had it all working perfect apart from that 'orrible Dak at NZAR and I cant remember how it all works.
Nunner
PS Will have those last 4 a/c plans to you tomorrow evening

Thanks guys.................knew about that one Charl but I am having no joy at all.
Have un-installed and then re-installed Auckland 2005 and then auckland_real_airports and still
those bloody statics remain so either I am doing something wrong or I am a complete half wit (no comments please)
Any suggestions?

I ended up having to create mini exclusion files all over NZAA to get rid of the statics that I didn't like. It can be done for NZAA but putting a exclusion file over NZWP results in only removing the static aircraft textures.
