Yup i actually have sp2 back to default settings without any tweaks now .and all is still ok , im very wary about aircraft and modules that i install ,if it doesnt work nice its gone ,one that ive found that works if not better in fsx is the bell custom 222 from hovercontrol there is not one thing that doesnt work the same as when it was in fs9 ,and it handles better under autopilot now reaching a speed of about 130 before it starts to shake ..
this aircraft has really blown some of the payware ones i have in there that all have little problems that weren't fixed when they were upgraded ..

As I said, I only do plain vanilla, when I do...
Think you've put your finger on it - a lot of "FSX" addons are having difficulty with the final version of the sim.
Time will tell if there's enough headroom left to produce a decent crop of workable ones.
FS11 design must be comng up to speed round now.

Re Sp2.

I am waiting to see what the general consensus is about SP2. Lots of tweaking still to do, but the fps are still below what I was expecting on a high end system. Certainly, the effects ARE better with FSX and flights low down are much improved. Installed more add-ons last night, and got some impressive results, but only when settings were on medium or medium-high. Very interesting to go back and try the same flights on FS9, as then the improvements with FSX are very apparent.

Still looking for the flying birds though!!

Smooth landings

Well all fixed now and im running a new placement tool WHISPLACER found http://lc0277.nerim.net/wiki/index.php?whisplacer
having used acouple of placement tools over my time this would have to be the best freeware design tool ive come across ,though ive also come in to a couple of problems with maybe sp2 ,
first of all i now for some reason have to go to the addon scenery library manager and delete the scenery folder "hamz2008" and then add it again before the scenery shows up again ..
this i thought was different and you just had to rebuild the scenery data base ,im not sure 100% but im sure this was different before , anyway the new whisplacer puts the scenery in real time all over the place as i place them but when it comes to saving out the new bgl file that whisplacer makes nothing shows up after i reload the scenery folder ,its like it doesnt recognize the new bglcomp file ?? werid ive spend alot of hours now trying to work that out so if anyone knows what that problem mite be could you give us a hint plz ..

looking around in the new sdk and stuff im getting more excited about it all ,this learning period brings back memorys of FS9 ,but this time around it looks way better ,
When this whisplacer is worked out for me , im thinking you rwy12 guys will have alot of fun with it ,it says its for fs9 aswell ..

mite have to do some house work today its looking a bit neglected now after 3days sitting at the computer
