Marlborough Install

The official REAL NZ support forum

This is the first time I have used the CD I got a few months ago, to install RNZ Marlbrough into FS9 (becuase I had the FSX version on download)

Howiever all goes well untill I get to 99% of the installer initialization when it gives me a NSIS error, saying the installer that I am trying to use is corrupted or incomplete. And that I should contact the author

And I can not go any further.

Any ideas

Regards, Scott

It sounds like you have a damaged disc. Contact me, with your address, through the Windowlight siteand I'll arrange a replacement.

Do you have a firewall running? They sometimes block installations so you may wish to try temporarily disabling it and trying again.

Robin I have sent the info on the windowlight site.

Trolly I had Norton 360 running but all my other installs of godzone scenerys worked, and I have tried Marlborough on 2 computers as well.

did you try copying it off the disk and then running the installer from hard disk?

The NIS installer is pretty amazing -- if it says there's an error, then I'd take its word:)
I've put a replacement disc in the mail. I haven't checked when the faulty disc was made, but I suspect that this goes back to a faulty drive, which was scrambling the odd disc. Up until then I used to validate about 1 disc out of 3 -- now I validate everything just in case.
