Hi everyone,

I have just completed about a 30-45 minute scenic flight in South Westland. To begin i took off from Glenorchy airfield in a cool Maule bush plane. The conditions were perfect: No cloud, no wind, high temps, and a beautiful sunset to add!! So we began our flight following the stunning Routeburn Track (at the top of Lake Wakatipu). We got to the tp of the Routeburn Saddle and descended to a low 300m above the Hollyford River Valley. This was simply gorgeous! The sun was slowly setting far out in the Tasman Sea as we cruised dow the valley. We passed Mt Tutoko, the highest mountain in Fiordland! We took many photos and slowly descended to a smooth landing at Martins Bay (the end of the valley). It really was a breathtaking flight! screenies will be up soon
