BOP scenery

timmo or any other simmers:

i recently installed all 4 parts of tim barnes' bop scenery, including the high res supplement for whale island and the whale island flatten patch. have flown only to whale island and white island so far. white is fine but whale looks like a beached whale in the middle of a wedged shaped peninsula of sand which exends ouy from the mainland.

below i have listed links to 2 screen shots to illustrate the anomaly.

can anyone help me to replace the land with water?

The original Whale Island has an extra file -- cvxWhaleHiRes.bgl -- which needed to be removed. I would have thought the patch would fix that, but it may be useful to see if you have that file, and disable it.

bingo. you hit the jackpot. disabling the .bgl in question did the trick. thanks very much.

Hi Steve

If you go to www.flightsim.co.nz youll see the link which fixes the flatten which Robin refers to- A new flatten was required to make the helipad sit properly on the high res mesh but in the initial version it caused some problems. I released an updated flatten which should fix the problem- Its only a few KB. Make sure to follow the instructions in the readme- it appears you didnt disable the old flatten

The HighRes version of Whale completely replaces the original version so if you have both you can delete the original.
