Christchurch scenery

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Postby captainherc » Fri Oct 19, 2007 2:54 pm

I have just installed nzch04V2.
1. Runs well but some buildings are all white with no detail. Have the air bridge in detail but terminal is all white walled and no detail. Also have a AI in the carpark.
2. Says it is "Designed to fit within Photoreal Christchurch New Zealand Scenery by GZ Virtual Flight". I looked at their web site and found no such scenery. What one do they mean and where can I find it.
Thanks.

This is the photoreal Christchurch Robin originally released for FS2002. Unfortunately, this subscription issue is no longer available (which is a shame really, as it was an excellent scenery. If the Waimak and Avon river tiles were re-edited to include water masking ... )

This Scenery is completed with texture i created and dose not use NOVA , as mentioned the model was designed on Robin Corns original 'Godzone Christchurch photoreal' scenery , if you are having problem with textures not showing , place a copy of the NZCH textures in the 'MAIN FS9/FSX' texture folder There is an other version nzch05v1 which is standalone , best search my name at flightsim.com . plane.gif

Thanks Ian.
Installed v5 and running sweet.
Then installed the Christchurch phototo real, the big 279mb set. While still downloading in FS9 it came up as "cannot create texture" Is the problem in my comp or when I dowmloaded it from my CD copy etc.

Super - you have airport workin , NZScenery created the 279mb file , its good , but requires a lot of work to get it to sit on that scenery .
