Ugly Qantas Paint Scheme

No I'm not going on about the new "aerodynamic skippy".

Was seeing my Aunty of at Christchurch this afternoon. Just as I had been eagerly anticipating, QF45 arived, a few minutes early. It wasn't the best view from the bar but can still hear those reversers!

Anyways, they have put some hirrible paint scheme ontop of the normal scheme. And it really does look like that, on top. From what I could see it looked horrible. Some sort of promotional thing. I couldn't see what it said or what the rego was. Would like to know what they have done to that 763 thow and why, personaly I think its a horrible look...

I think the whole thing is a waste of time and is very stupid. It's not a "New Livery", infact it's far from it. It's just a minor edit. I think a "new livery" should be one where you see a plane and go "wow ! flash plane ! What airline is that !" For example, when Gulf air changed their livery, now thats a new livery ! Or, but to a lesser extent, United. This Qantas hipe is rediculassssssss!

Yes we certainly are. I had posted my above post a new thread for that very reason, it is irrelevant to the discusion of this thread. In the hope to make it clear my post did not belong in here read the first line of my above post. Sadly that was not clear enough for a eager admin/moderator who felt it nesacery to shift it into this thread. I recived no PM from a moderator or admin, I sent a PM to the admin who was on the active users list at the time the post was moved, I am yet to recive a response to my message.

If I felt this post needed to be in here, I would have put it here.

I don't wish to continue this discusion, this thread is for discusing the redesigned Qantas logo, not my Friday afternoon spoting.

It does - look at the drop-down box on the right, not the left. You just need to select which posts with the tick-boxes.

That would be cool, be will will probably only do one for the 2011 World Cub when it is in Auckland, and by than ANZ will probably have a whole new livery
