Preview shot of the Walter turbine powered Fletcher. I'm hoping to release three models at the end of this month. Aircraft will be in colours of Marlborough Aerial Work, Super Air and Air Services Ltd. I will upload some more shot soon.

If I'm lucky and keep motivated, then maybe before the end of the year.

These Fletchers have a 550 HP turboprop instead of the standard 400 HP piston engine. This offers better efficiency in many ways. Because the engine is lighter and has more power the payload is increased by abou 300 kg or 30%. Additionally Avtur (aviation turbine fuel) is cheaper than Avgas. The turbine also drives a reverse pitch propeller.

Unfortunately work on the Walter Fletcher has not progressed as fast as I'd hoped due to other (non FS) work I have. Additionally the release of Acceleration for FSX has created a few new obstacles. In answer to a couple of other questions:

QUOTE
will the new aircraft work on both fsx and fs9[/quote]
Its designed for FSX only - It may work with FS9, but some gauges and other features may not work.

QUOTE

No - this model is very rare and I haven't got the time sorry.

Cheers

Deane
