Have the photos - will upload when I get a chance - a bit slow on dial up.

Champion - weather is absolutely set for painting.
Maybe upload overnight?

is it a C150 or C152 - I learned and also did my instructors rating on C152's and would like to try it out if it's a C152.

Okay here they are - lots of photos - bit repetitive as there isn't alot of difference between each a/c - sorry about the quality but it was p...sing down - (the sunny Bay of Plenty - yeah right) at least that meant they were all there

DAD & detail

MUM

KID - note lower windows in door

SIS

NAN - note the missing rear wheels spats

POP & detail actually ZK-PQP

.. and if you feel inclined for more repainting I took these as extras (taken in Tauranga Aero Clubs new hanger - perhaps Robin needs to add this to the scenery!)

TAY - I quite like this scheme

The underside of TAY - reads Bay of Plenty Times - your daily newspaper

TAA

Ill check each model on whether the BAyflight & TAA are Aerobats (TAY is obviously an Aerobat) or not later

TAA, KID, DAD & MUM are all Aerobats - rest are standard 152s.

Isn;t the only difference between a 150 and a 152 the engine? In which case a short edit of the aircraft.cfg would suffice!

It's a bugger to paint though.

Nope. The 152 has 30 of flap and not 40 and electric flaps.
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

I'm pretty sure both those changes can be made in the aircraft.cfg though someone will know better than me and confirm that statement or not!

Paul many thanks I'll have a go.
Occurs to me the only one not represented in GNZLAP is POP, so that's it then.

Hiya Charl

Note that it is PQP not POP - looking forward to it.

Cheers

Paul

Heh they cheated a little with the font, and trimmed the leg off the "Q".
Wonder why they couldn't get POP?
Last time I looked, it wasn't in use.
Anyway it'll be on AVSIM sometime (warts 'n all).

And many thanks Paul for doing the photo legwork, you'll recognise the shot above, right down to the weather!

Thanks guys - the plane is way better than the paint so just enjoy it!
I'm glad POP wasn't in the GNZLAP group otherwise we'd have had to axe an AI plane.
I'd rather amputate a little finger...

BTW, does your 152 continually bank to the left during flight? Mine does, and I want to know if I can make it stay level.
Following on from this, I flew the 150 up from Waihi Beach to Whangarei at the weekend and the left banking issue got really annoying- especially on landing. I thought it may be an issue with uneven tanks, but both tanks drain simultaneously and with fuel at 100% the issue still occurs. I emailed François Guidée (the author of the package) about this and he had no solutions, can anyone here help?

Is the aircraft 'in trim' when it is yawing? (i.e. is the ball in the middle?)

Perhaps check your realism settings. A lot of them make the aircraft slowly bank to the left (sliders like P-Effect, Torque etc), a little description comes up at the bottom of the page when you hover your mouse over them for some more info. I've found changes I've made won't take effect properly till after I've restarted the sim... :)

Yep, but the turn co-ordinator starts moving to the left as soon as I accelerate, and increases in pitch as time goes on...

Thanks for your suggestion Alex- I'll go check that now.

Fixed it!

QUOTE
P-factor refers to the asymmetrical thrust generated by a spinning propeller. It contributes to the left-turning tendency of single-engine airplanes and twin-engine airplanes that lack counter-rotating propellers.

Gyro refers to gyroscopic precession caused by the propeller. It, too, is a contributing factor of left-turning tendency.

Torque—another force caused by an aeroplane's spinning propeller—causes the aeroplane to rotate clockwise about its longitudinal axis. It is also a contributing factor for left-turning tendency.
I guess some aircraft are just modelled with more accurate flight models than others, thanks again Alex :D
