Nice Shots :D

Actually - the other way round - For normal ops the C130's, 757, kingairs and Hueys will park in front of RNZAF Airmovement Section at 2 Hangar. Thats the one on the upper left of the last screenshot - and mighty fine shots they are !!! The larger aircraft will do a 180 and park parallel to the hangar with their noses pointing to the civil air terminal.

Hangars are numbered from 1 to 5 starting from the terminal end - 1 Hangar and moving towards Blenheim - 5 Hangar.

C130's, Orions and Iroquois which are arriving / departing major airframe overhaul at Safe Air will often be parked outside 4 hangar, especially during test flying. The airframe overhaul takes 3 - 4 months inside the hangar. Hercules have their tail removed and slide in sideways on the eastern end, Orions nose straight in to the western end and the clamshell doors close around the tail section.

After all, Marlborough arrived "down under" (Germany) today! Great work, Robin - I think, it´s your best scenery. I´m looking forward to your next work (??) and I can´t wait to be in Picton soon in the real live .
