Looking at other's opinions. Alot of people say that Nobody will win as the militant attacks are getting worse and if the US pulled out it would turn into a massive shambles. I believe Nobody will win.

I believe Sting said it best in his song 'Russians'...

There is no such thing as a winnable war

This whole situation is a joke. It will turn into something like Vietnam or Korea. Who will ever know the outcome?

George Bush should leave. He's made Iraq airways non existent anymore.
It's so sad seeing those aircraft sitting around on the tarmac helpless with no one to pilot them :(

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

Right time for my political view

To the point no one will WIN

Good ole Busshy was under a HUGE amount of pressure after 9/11 to go in and almost remove every Muslim country of the face of the planet, if you remember when the US went into Afghanistan that there was a huge amount of support that the US actually going to get rid of all the terrorists  but then he decided he would finish dad's work and go in and get Sadam out (BAD CALL) now he is a lame duck president.

Ahh well only 1 year left of him

The very same aircraft used to spray chemical weapons on civilians?

America will totally win, I mean, they've got the nukes and the fighter jets and the choppers and the huge population, so Iraq doesn't stand a chance! Why can't they just bring forward the forseeable and bomb them to hell? :o :ph43r:

The world is backing them? Really?

What is worse: Loosely organised militias blowing themselves up and killing innocent people or well organised nations breaking international law, sending thousands of troops and billions of dollars of equipment to kill (mostly) innocent people?

But thats the thing, these 'religions' are going to make most if not all of these 'innocent' people become militants. It gives a new twist to the outcome aswell, because their mentality says fight to the death, so from purely staying at it, the militants could easily win :@ :ph43r:

Sorry, did anyone say stereotype around here?

Really, Islam isn't as different to Christianity as you might think (and there are some pretty "un-pc" sections of the bible as well :ph43r: )...

errr.....two points: How is the religion you alluded to different from Christianity? (i.e. How many US Forces personell are religious? They are 'happily' fighting to their deaths over there?)

Im not sure if Religion specifically makes them/anyone 'militant'...im sure a foreign country (countries) coming and bombing your house, family and friends under the word 'freedom' would kinda make anyone a bit peed off?

The US will say they won.
The militants will say they won.

In the end, neither side will win outright, and we will see a repeat of Vietnam ;)

Poverty is the main cause of radicalism and thats where the problem comes from. The real war is not US vs Islam it is in fact Suni vs Shite.
