But there's definately no harm in contacting the appropriate person at AirNZ (Flight Ops Manager) and just explain your a keen aviation head etc, and see how you go, might pay to write a letter & attach couple forms of I.D
and lets face it... security is a bit of a joke really... you only need a drivers license to get on board and fairgo have proved how easy it is to get a fake drivers license...
