Sorry, I've missed looking at this forum for some time. I can supply the "Tam'" as a .3ds file, with .bmp textures if someone wants to try converting for FS9 or FSX, for an experiment?

Cheers Bazza

I seem to have a legacy AFCAD - when are you planning to upload the final final package?

sorry fsx guys only 90 percent of the boats work in fsx rowing boat and windsurfers remain static will have to redo for fsx when more tools are available.(maybe you could take a look at the static craft for me Jon
;)
All is working great in FS9
Just one more tweak and I will release the pack. will try to post a couple of shots from fsx later.
Maybe you could post a couple Charl ;)

Too right, but FS9 is my weapon of choice for the Marlborough area now, never mind the clever FSX water.
This doesn't stop me running a few more screenshots though.
For the new scenery, something a little more sedate is called for.
Might I suggest Bill Lyons' remarkable Piper Tripacer? (Available at AVSIM still)

It comes with a CD player too, and I fly here, happily listening to Madelaine Peyroux. Also with floats, tailor-made for the Picton end where water is all you have :

The shipping really does make the scenery come alive

Together with the Retro AI and GNZLAP, it's all a comprehensive bit of kit, adding up to a great VFR flying experience.
'Course there is rotary-wing stuff around too:

Nothing beats ship viewing using a powerful eggbeater like the Bell 412.

Tracy is doing a good job.

Wow! nice shots Charl - my Marlborough scenery better arrive tomorrow! Looking forward to the shipping package as well - it's going to be a bit like Holgers Glacier Bay with all the ships everywhere - I can fully see why Robin chose to model Marlborough - the tie in with Wellington and the likeness to some of Richard Goldstein's & Holger's scenery.
