After all this is not the middle ages, this is the 21st century, the time of quad core chips, dual core graphics cards, and FSX.....

Maybe so, but the 21st Century, quad core yadda yaddas etc cannot change the amount of space on my desk, or the maximum size of carry-on baggage, and I'm afraid those are the limiting factors when it comes to screen size (for me, anyway).

Doesn't help. A 19 inch LCD is just as wide as a 19 inch CRT: 19 inches is 19 inches! (and in my room, it won't fit! :( )

Now what might help, is a winning lotto ticket, then I could get a bigger house!

Sigs are cool, if you don't like em then switch em off in your preferences.

six hours later Brownbox sig loads

Also- as ZK-MAT said, dial-up users can simply turn off the viewing of sigs if they wish

One problem, if you are viewing in guest mode then how do you do that? I do not stayed logged in because others can use my computer. :( Nothing worse than being blamed for someones else posting saying they are you.

Log on and when you are finished log off.

It's not about liking them (or not), it's about how big they should be. Yours, for example: Excellent. I have no idea what it means, but it's a good size, discrete and not in my face. :)

Its a standard sized sig as I frequent a few forums that size seems to be the norm. The actual sig is a F-16 which is a future addon for a new sim called FighterOps. CDR is my rank in my Squadron (Commander). VFA35 is my Squadron and SC indicates I am the Squadron Commander for VFA35. CTO means Chief Trainning Officer which is my other job in Airwolves division. Its quite cool to have a sig which shows your Squadron/Clan/Airline etc. And alot of forums feature sigs of varying Squadrons so its handy particularly when you see other peoples coments from other Squadrons. Another interesting feature is to have a link in your sig, before my link was to the Airwolves web page which is under repair at the moment. Other links I have seen in the past include links to pilots log books etc which is quite cool you can certainly see if some people are good pilots or not by how many crashes they've had.

And heres my latest sig featuring an F-16D
