Digging up old Concorde photos , I found theses , AN124 , the first western debut at the 1988 Australian Bicentennial Airshow . yeah yeah - ok old news , Its what it did ..a Wing over from the runway level , and bring it down to a 2xwingspan alt away from the ground ..
I had my face in an VideoCam , Guess footage should go to Simtube/Utube format .. Was just nice to hear 150thousand say " FU......................... " in a silience and still waiting for a 'K'

I labeld the Topic AN124 with the 225 in mind , since Allan my brother caught some super shots of the AN225 aircraft at the Paris 1989 Airshow .

Thanx Zolt , Missed that piece of News , The pilot displaying the 124 was 59 in 88 , be good idea to dig up all the Paris Air Show pics showin the 225 in respect to an amazing designer.

As u can see a new roll off film .. this was the starter run to the wing over i do have a photo somewhere showin his prox to ground , using the span as a ruler , super display pilot this was follow by a near typical display .... if you were tring to sell ATRs for passenger comfort , thing is then 88, now the worlds largest Aircraft ! all the C5 Galaxy could say was Oorr ya Bloody show off ! , Back then 'CONDOR' could only say

When the 747-400 prototype was doing tests , it was found to the heaviest aircraft ever to leave the ground at 411 ton's , I recall 1989 ..... it sorta got beaten by this beast , the first aircraft to leave the ground at over 600 tons! photos courtesy of my brother Allan

i would hate to rotate those tyres!!! she is an awesome a/c to think it sat neglected for along time after the Russian shuttle program got canned, it was rebuilt to carry the really big loads that the an-124 couldn't carry saw a great program on discovery that i recorded, apparently they are looking at rebuilding the second one if demand requires it
