NZCH Spotting Set 1

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Postby ZK-TJL » Mon May 28, 2007 11:26 am

Was in chch this weekend to catch up with family and friends. On Sunday I woke up in agony........one of my wisdom teeth decided to torture me :( . This killed my plans to catch up with some of the lads in CHCH. Despite this, I still managed to get about 40 mins of spotting in while balling my eyes out over my tooth.

This set is the smaller aircraft, next set is the 777's

No, just relative to the 777 in the second set. . Even 737's and a320's are babies compared to those monsters. :)

Sorry to hear about your tooth  think I have a wisdom tooth myself now, its bloody big init, right at the back ae, pushes all the other teeth outa they way and hurts, that wisdom tooth? So yours is removed now mm they don't always have to be removed thow do they? Wouldn't want to see the bill for a tooth removal, do you even get to keep the little b*stard (thatd be the tooth)?

They are nice photos Nik, that 320 looks so much more like the PA320 yet the second one looks far more like the IFDG model. mm so what ones more realistic :P

I still have my wisdom teeth at the moment. Its snapped, and is now deep within the gum. It will have to be cut out, then extracted I'd say. Yet more pain to look forward to! Then comes the bill!!!!! hahaha from bad to worse!!!!

Not familar with those models so can't really stand in either camp there.

I'd go with the IFDG or PA looking more like that photo not the other way round... :P The real thing is so much better anyway! haha.

Hi Trolly. The weather was nice round NZCH, It's a Fujifilm S5500. 4.0 Meagpixel, 10 optical zoom. I'm happy with it, I may get a zoom lens for it at some point. I convinced Jon to get the lastest version of this camera not too long ago, I think he was pretty happy with it. It's nothing compared to some of the monster cameras out there, but it does the job well, and doesn't carry their monster price tag.

Cant say I favour the dentist but I had to sit in a bloody dentist chair on Friday when I went and got my eye-brow pierced brought back memories of the dental nurse hehehe had the lovely young lass leaning over me so if you guys get anything pierced go for the eye-brow hahahahaha getting a good view makes the slight pain of the needle going through all worth it and the chicks love'em.

I have some shots that I need to upload from my last visit to NZTG will get round to it.

Cool Shots man

Hahahaha. I can't say I have your luck SQ300. The dentist was a guy hahaha. And here's his killer quote "That tooth looks like its causing you alot of pain.....I can get you in for an apointment to remove it at the start of July" hahaha. So I guess I'm on toxic levels of pain killers until then.

Glad you like the shots :)

how I envy you brennanx. I'd love to have a relative who is a pilot!
ZK-TJL good shots but if that damn fence isn't in the way. Maybe for some shots you should poke your lens through the fence.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.
