Napier Add On Scenery

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Postby Barrington » Fri May 25, 2007 8:47 pm

Can anyone help me with an fs 2004 add on that features shoreline trees, ship in harbour, modern terminal etc.
I had one but lost it in a rebuild problem.
Would appreciate some feedback from anyone on this. :(

For Napier I think (from topic title). I haven't seen anything similar to what you are describing... :ph43r:

Not 100% accurate, but it FEELS like Napier.
Airport only.
FS2004.
Won't suit 20-mesh..but here's something to try - my own effort:

NZNR (10MB)

You are welcome to edit this scenery to suit.
I offer it freely to simmer-mates.

I had da fences up and everything, but they were a frame-rate killer, so I removed dem.

I did this for my own use, so if you want accuracy, don't download.

The zip file will only be available for a limited time.

Cheers,

Goff

not to bad this one, i have had a quick look, might have to tweak the afcad a little, my a/c was parked in the carpark, but give a good feel for the airport. thanks for the addition
In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.

Gee..thanks. I'm not into building-design, so any buildings would be great.

If any of yas want pics specifically of the Napier/Hastings areas for future design work, let me know.

Cheers,

Very Nice effort Goff
Maybe time to retire my old FS2002 Napier by Andrew Mckee, and build on this one !
If you can manage some semblance of the port, that would be cool.
No problems with aircraft in the carpark in my sim. All is as it should be.
And you know, me,...................... gotta fiddle. Going to have a play around with it tonight.
All in all, a great effort mate !!
