Is there one? preferably in RNZAF colours. Even better if it's freeware...

Corker, thanks Nik. I need it for leg 2 of my upcoming "Back to Blighty" tour - South from NZCH is certainly an interesting way to go... :plane:

The Captain Sim one looks interesting, but I can't justify £20/$60 for a plane that'll get used once!

Pity about the RNZAF's being a 30mb d/l. if it wern't for the panel I might considering downloading it.

I think the captain sim one works

as far as I know CS have not yet released a patch ;) Brock has the 130 and had to go back to fs9 (yes, he even uninstalled fs9 on getting fsx :o  lol) so unless they have released a patch it doesn't work in fs10 ;)

hahaha. Its the same herc you flew at the airshow, but you flew the tactical grey paint. I'm not sure how long thse have been out for.........quite a long time, after all they are FS9 models. I think the company that bulit them both is is AB simulations.

Are you not aware of the Virtual Armed Services policy? By replacing all aircraft with FS models, not only is money saved in maintenance and replacement costs, but government 'politically correct' non-competition targets are met. There is no danger of fall out (radioactive or literal), plummeting onto schools is avoided, and we get to stay friends with everybody.

The Army has instigated a similar policy. They now just post a letter to an aggressor country with the word "bang" on it. As for the Navy, well, we'd better not go there...!

I also hear Tranz Rail are taking an interest in the new MS train sim...

Theres also the 2004 alphasim c130 payware herc(flp friendly) , from the last time i tested aircraft in fsx worked ok ,(but only looked quickly )
The captain sim would proberly kill flps as it does in 2004 and the airforce one sadly doesnt have a vc as stated above
but at less now you have three to chose from .

Simshed do a freeware C130 with a photoreal VC.

I don't have FSX so can't say if it works in it or not. But if it's free worth a download to find out.
Testers are born to fiddle. What does this button do? Oh! Never mind.....

Look up the name 'Clive Ryan' at Flightsim.com , best 2 panel for any freeware herc , and the photos are from a RNZAF130 by Steve Moore :)

I guess it will work in X

neither of my models have VC's in them ,..for the main reason that they would get critisised for not being up to captainsims quality. As with captainsims herk,..and KBT's excellent freeware orion they have multiple people working on them,..where i am doing everything myself from the models ,FDE's,soundpacks and panels. The panels are basic,..and use default gauges so that EVERYONE can use the models straight off without having to read a long winded manual. The target audience is broader than just the flightsim community,..so therefore had to be tailored as such...

The RNZAF have had FS aircraft available for download for only 5-6 months, not long at all. ;)

considering that my models are under the title "gallery",..on the airforce website,..and " flightsim skins" on the bring it on website,..3500 downloads isnt too bad i suppose. Effort has been made to have them in a seperate catogory has been made but the webmasters dont understand the concept of flightsim aircraft...and so dont know what to do with them. If they want the NH-90 some changes will have to be made to their respective websites for sure....

Thought Adrian , Maybe link the airforce chappies to this site and show how well your models are appricated , I have been tryin to get Wiggy Airforce Museum to upgrade there PC's for the install of all NZ flightsim to be installed . :) have few there would really enjoy the chance to view and see whats in our little virtual world but also to display it .. maybe i can get work there .
