Sorry......didn't time the flight as such.......but It was much quicker than I expected. Climbed up to FL 360.....had tea.......by the time I'd finished tea it was almost time to start descending......so pretty quick

As Zolt said, the scenery may have you wanting to take some time exploring or adjusting your approach, I think the NOTAM suggests there may be more to this flight than meets the eye.

I probably also need to say comms on the chathams is a bit dodgy between traffic and the local pilots, you may need to be cautious of unidentified bogeys, maybe :ph43r:

WOW, I would only ever use 16X on something like NZAA-KLAX, VHHH, KSFO, WSSS

Were all go, SP1 wont make any difference to our plans as such. Remember the flight is as much about social interaction as it is about flying.

Hey Max.

Might pay to check with Jon (his NOTAM), but I'd say that would be fine.....no ATC this week so joint cockpit should be no probs.

Really? I never ever use time acceleration! I like my flights to be as long and realistic as possible, as when I land I feel more statisfied :P Mind you, the longest flight I have ever done was only 3 and a half hours haha.

BTW, love your Air Chathams skin Jon- if only they had an ERJ in real life ay? :P

I look forward to seeing some screenshots of the new FSX scenery for the islands here.

Is this flight IFR or VFR?

mmmmm both i think as Chathams don't have ILS and stuff so that would be VFR but IFR for the route to and from Chathams i guess.......
