Hi Kelburn.
I will definately be looking forward to that one !! The 70s, my favourite era :)
This might prompt me to stop getting side-tracked with all the other projects i have on the go, and get my ass into gear on getting started with the 60s NAC and Air NZ/TEAL Retro-AI aircraft package.

I'm not sure what I'll do about the textures on the concourse.
If you think they're fine tell me and I'll leave them otherwise I'll either try to make a new texture or something.

If memory serves correctly, they were ugly and grey like that. Corrugated ribbed walls they were. Nice start Kelburn, no hurry matey, just take your time. No Stress.
Nice old DC-8, got several just like it in the Retro-AI pack 1.
Needless to say, got a few flyable ones as well...........

grey.
Gee thats a relief. I wasn't around then and the pictures are only vlack and white so I wouldn't be able to tell if it was yellow!
I may put some similar-to-background coloured grass stuff beneath to hide the satellite.
(well brown for the freeware and green for the payware satellite stuff.)

I've found a hitch. The hill where the control tower dissapears with the freeware scenery. I don't know about the payware NZWN but I'll have to learn how to do mesh.
Also the autogen leaves on the freeware NZWN

As you can see in the last screenshot I need to sort out the mesh and autogen.
If anyone knows how to do either or both of these things please say so.

Sorry can't give a date. I would love to it's just that life is a bit busy at the moment but hopefully by next week depending on testing.
That reminds me, Snowman could you test the scenery with the payware godzone NZWN to see if it works?

Yes, currently under testing, and modification. Having to make many changes, as the scenery was made for FS2002, and doesnt sit too well in FS2004 with 20m mesh and NZ Topo. As Kelburn said, also modifying to make the airport fit into Robin's beautiful RealNZ Wellington photoreal ground textures.
Still working on both versions, so , no, the project has not stopped.
All good things take time, and i am also working on several other projects at the same time.
All good things come to those who wait......................
