Qantas to stop Auckland-Adelaide direct flights

Qantas will suspend its three times a week direct services between Adelaide and Auckland from July 23 this year.

Perhaps they can change the Adelaide tv ad now?

Actually I think that Adelaide ad actually refers to Air NZ, who are still flying that route 3 times a week.
But you're right benwynn, that route isn't big enough for 2, even when it's only 6 total flights a week. Perhaps the 737-300 flying that route for QF lost out NZ's A320 efficiency? Then again, QF has plenty of connecting flights within Australia, so no big loss for them.
