Brimpton

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Brimpton is a small 550 metre grass airfield between Reading and Newbury. Yesterday was their annual fly-in, and there were some interesting aircraft both on the ground and in the air...

The Saab is available for FS9 (including a paint of that particular aircraft), as is the Luscombe. I haven't seen any of the others though (Rick Piper has done a Jet Provost, but not a Piston Provost)

I'd love a FS version of the Rollason Turbulent: It's one of those old 'gentlemanly' aircraft where you can just putter along at 500ft and 60kts, waving at the people on the ground stuck in Bank Holiday traffic jams...

Jeez that Turbulent is cool, like a go-kart with wings.
