), and we were away to Motueka by about 11. The plan was to head over to Motueka Aero Club for BBQ lunch, then cut some streamers with the wings of a 152 Aerobat, JZT:
I got a ride over to Motueka with a few other members in ETU, the club's better 172:

Sitting in the back seat, I took these pics. It's a 15-20 min ride to Motueka.



Once there we had a look through a few aeroplanes, then had lunch. A lot of hanging around talking followed while everone waited for their turn in the Aerobat. For my turn we brought 2 toilet rolls up to chuck out the window. We lost sight of the first one , and the 2nd one (which we unrolled quite a bit) sort of exploded into a big puff of loo paper, though we did see the remaining bit of roll just out of reach
Ah well. The Aerobat was REALLY good to fly BTW
