Do you mean PCI-express or the old PCI?
If you're not sure, then if your PC was built in the last 2 years, it's probably a PCIe card you're after.

I've never seen a normal PCI graphics card, only AGP.

You can find PCI-E cards for sale here: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Computers/Comp ... -4248-.htm

They do exist they just are not as popular as AGP or PCI-E. What spec machine are you using? If it has a AGP slot then you should seriously look at AGP.
Unless of course your looking at a second Graphics Card installation?

Might be able to help you out once I know what your after performance wise.

Before AGP cards the graphics add on cards were all PCI....

http://www.pricespy.co.nz/cat_16.html#g30

They start at about $89 for a 128 meg or 64 meg variety.

I sold a 128 meg Radeon PCI card on TradeMe about a year ago for $50 ... as Bingo suggested I used it as a second display adapter running alongside an AGP that only had one output (and I had no on-board video).

i'd be surprised if your PC didn't have an AGP slot.
anyway, unfortunately I don't have any graphics cards, let alone a spare PCI card. it's not worth buying one either, since it will only offer a tiny performance improvement to whatever you have at the moment- you'd be better off saving for a whole new PC i'm afraid.

I gather your pretty new to PCs? If so then I would advise not just taking advice from this forum but talking to people who know about computers.
I am not surprised you have a PC that does not have a AGP slot and a 2.4ghz should be sufficant but without more information like the computer make how much Ram then it is hard to advise properly.
Most factory made models are hard if not impossible to upgrade someone who had a Packard and Bell found this out. The PC did not have a AGP slot and they wanted to add a Graphics Card. Only choice was a PCI type, well for some reason compatibility it did not work. Tried 5 differant makes before finally giving up they ended up buying another Factory made machine that had a AGP graphics card. Guess what happened when they tried to upgrde that :o

Give me as much information you can and I may well be able to help you out.

I think you should get an upgrade kit if you are going to want a graphics card. PCI will not boos your performance enough to play flight simulator.
Here is one, it is not the best but pretty bang for buck, dual core cpu which is good.

This is also a good one. If you do decide to get an upgrade kit then i would suggest getting one with a 7600gs or higher. Or a Radeon X1700 or higher(sorry don't know much about ati) If you have a couple hundred to spare then an upgrade box is the way to go!!!
