very nice shots. Although, to be honest Im not a big fan of the looks of that plane ;)

Yeah, it sure wouldnt win any beauty contest prizes, but then it wasnt designed to be a racehorse, it was designed to be a workhorse, a task that it filled very well.

Nice Lawrie, she was an impressive site when she operated for real, its not an aircraft I will forget quickly. Love your AI by the way.

Thanks Jon. The NAC Wings of the Nation era is one of my favourite NZ liveries.
I remember the Carvairs from when i was younger. They were doing a bread and freight run to the islands from the James Aviation base at NZHN for a while.
I dont remember what colours they were wearing at the time though, (memory fading in old age :lol: ). I even got to have a look inside one of them. Now that WAS a real buzz for a young fella like me......... :D

I remember them aswell, hell Im starting to sound old now. The other thing I remember is Newmans Air Dash 7s :blink: Id hate to think what Ill be like when Im in my 40s ;)

Flew on a Dash-7 of Newmans, when i was younger. Wasnt too bad a plane. Rather liked it actually.
Nothing wrong with being in your 40s............... "Life Begins at 40" , as the old saying goes.
