These are some postcards I collected over the years, the scan quality isnt the best but you get the idea.

This Electra was the aircraft my Nana flew on (A hand written note on the back states this) so I'm picking she kept it knowing I was a plane nut from an early age.

I flew on this baby to Melbourne when I was about 8 I think, this postcard was sent to me in April 1980, at least thats how the postmark reads but its rather faint now.

Not sure how I got this one, nothing on it to indicate anything.

Is that a B742 or B743 in that last pic? Looks to me like a shortened upper deck.. :unsure:

742, Air New Zealand never operated the 743.

yaa i was right it was rarotonga :) i like the look of the 747-200 in the old colours.

Great pics! I think the B777 would look great in the scheme the DC8 is wearing! Shiny belly, crisp white upper fuselage.....nice!

Havent got the Electra but have the other two....also have a couple of the DC10.

They sure did, most flights use to give postcards and other stuff away, heck I remember throwing many of these cards out because I had so many. I remember the DC10 one, was also at Rarotonga I think.
