Here is my idea

I have a PC ( on wich I run fs ) I have a laptop ( not that powerfull 1.8Ghz I think ) is there any way I could "lend" the power of my laptop to my PC i.e. let my PC use my laptop CPU as a seccond core as such.

Networking kind of thing? Lots of people do that to use the power of multiple computers..

(do we have anothor brownbox on our hands? )

Depends whether you want to run FS9 or FSX, and also what network connection you are going to use, and you may have to find some special patch that will make the computer 'recognise' the laptop as part of itself or something.... good luck.

I've never heard of linking laptop to desktop for performance. Even if it was possible, the reality is that network interface or even USB wouldn't have the transfer speed high enough to be able to do any damage.
Having said that, I know Vista uses USB memory sticks to improve performance...

As far as I know (using XP at least), you cannot have one PC easily harness the power of a second processor, however you can use the second pc/laptop to do tasks in conjunction with the first PC to ease the strain on the first PC. In FS an example is Wide FS where aonther PC or three is linked to the main PC in a FS session to handle weather, gauges etc.
