Don't use it, it isn't worth the download. If only someone would make a better qantas 747(hint hint) Although isn't it against nzff rules?

the texture is a bit blurry for qantas 747. The qantas 737 is a good paintjob tho.

Hi Guys,

I'll be online tomorrow night. Will be first time in multiplayer server, and looking forward to it!

Just a quick question, because we will be landing in fog.... when I do an ILS approach how do I get the aircraft to glide down to the runway by autopilot? The app button lines me up perfect but shouldnt it descend? Can anyone give me a quick "heads up"?

Cheers

I think you need to cross through the glideslope with the APP switch on the autopilot on before it clicks through. Failing that you'll have to fly it manually

As for routes flying south, I suggest the H384 NP H252 NS V288 YW route, which is pretty much direct anyway.
And remember the conditions will be tricky with low visibility, so please take the safety of your passengers into account- don't be afraid to go around B)

One BIG problem with fog as weather is that some of us may get the problem in FSX with the panel Disappearing, howiever the VC will still work, so worst case I will do the flight 100% from the VC.

P.S. from what I have used of that QF 744 it looked OK

Repaints of the default aircraft are approved. So that repaint is allowed, but there are some better repaints out there that are 'more new zealand'.

The repaints by Tim and Jon are sharp!!!!! any which way you slice it.

I might use Ansett the only reason I was going to use QF is that I don't like ANZ that much

Never come across this problem..........sounds nasty, have you tried pressing shift + 1 to get your 2D cockpit back after it had disappeared?

Just a note to pilots flying tonight.....one of the best tools you can have is a pen and paper to write stuff down. Might be a big help.......

See you all tonight........should be a good one!!!!

Yeah it is ok but almost default quallity. It is ver blurry, I can't read "Qantas" on the side. The tail could be much better. I use meljet and POSKY 747's for overseas airlines.

Hi team

I just had a quick look round NZCH. The Taxi ways are not labelled correctly in FSX, with this in mind I'll be calling the Taxi ways by their FSX labels (so pilots can see the sign posts and follow them).

So

Real world taxi way A will be 'MAIN'
Real world taxi way A2 will be A
Real world taxi way A3 will be B
Real world taxi way A4 will be C
Real world taxi way A15 will be L
Real world taxi way A5 will be D
Real world taxi way F will be H
Real world taxi way A6 will be E
Real world taxi way A7 will be F

This should help you find your way around on the ground at NZCH

OOOOOO the problem that you may have it that your Global Texture Size may not be set to max.

On that note i will be operating as Qantas 44 (heavy) tonight

P.S. with the panel problem it mainly happens in overcast weather but overcast and raniny is OK ;) ( think fog should be ok, howiever like I said the VC will still work ) is had afected alot of people and will be fixed in SP1

Just been printing off some information. Anyone know where i can get a map of Christchurch Intl with labled taxiways? I have auckland, but need Christchurch. I'll be lost without Progressive taxi, and i already find it very hard to read taxi signs.

This is a good one to go for but have a look at my post above regarding the naming of these taxiways in FSX. I'll get ya where ya need to go for takeoff and landing  You'll be right :)
