Hi all

Thought I'd just post some pics of a flight I had today, around 40min worth, in Krzysztof Malinowski's version of Curtiss P-40N-1 Kittyhawk A29-448/ZK-CAG, known to most of us as Currawong. She's designed for CFS2 but flies fantastically in FS9. I couldn't get her to work in FSX, but c'est la vie!

I won't bore you with too many more details, just enjoy the pics! I certainly enjoyed taking them.

Hamish is going to take a look at remedying some of the inaccuracies of the paint job as well as removing some of the "weathering", resulting in a much more true-to-life Currawong. I can tell you, I can't wait to take her up above RealNZ Marlborough! Most definitely going to be worth the wait.

Hey Zac, I just found a Kittyhawk for FSX on flightsim.com under the name rafdc112.zip

Description:
FSX RAF 112th Desert Camo P-40. A repaint of Robert Hawk's Curtiss P-40. This is an accurate RAF 112th Squadron Tomahawk in desert camo. The "Sharks" exchanged their Gloster Gladiators for the Curtiss fighter. No 112 Squadron became famous for its "shark's tooth" insignia on the engine cowling, and this scheme was later adopted by the American Volunteer Group in China. Included are some historical pictures and history. This is a complete aircraft. Modified for FSX and textured by Mark Rooks.

Yeah, not a big fan of that dude's repaints, they just don't look right. The mouths look all squished, and the fonts are all wrong. But thanks for the thought! :(

It seems CFS2 aircraft wont work in FSX, I tried with the default CFS2 Corsair which had been modified for FS9, but X wouldnt look at it :(
