GNZLAP 5.0

Read and report on flightsim developers progress of upcoming or completed products

Postby Charl » Tue Apr 10, 2007 7:44 pm

Well, in keeping with celebrating the NZFF anniversary month, it's fitting to announce that the full GNZLAP package is now available on AVSIM (and probably Flightsim).
Many thanks to all who have provided feedback and contributions to the (essentially beta) previous releases.
It's a biggie, 200 AI planes, split almost down the middle between full freeware and payware HTAI models, so there's something for everyone.
Enjoy!

Hi Charl,

Can you please provide a link for this. I can't seem to find it? :(

Try this file search in Avsim's library: "gnzlap50.zip"

or search "Charl".

Oh mint!

Cheers Naki! I notice in the title it says FS2004. Does it work with FSX?

No problems - Sorry I am not sure as I don't use FSX - maybe somebody else here can answer your question (Charl?).

I'm told FS2k4 AI works fine in FSX.
I haven't heard anyone trying it, most seem only too happy to get 1 A/C in the sky without turning it into a slideshow.
I'm a newb at FSX and haven't added anything to it at this time.
Why not be the first, then? B)

Yes, all GNZLAP works fine in FSX, some of the models may appear with bits missing if they are older models, but most are fine given its AI. They are fairly gentle on frames as well so I doubt you would see a big system crunch.

Good job Charl, I take my hat of to you sir on an outstanding project, well done!

If it's that giant airshow-type hat, High praise indeed! Take a bow, all participating gents.
It hasn't been without its hiccoughs unfortunately, but I hope it has given some pleasure.

lol, yes only large hats are dipped in your general direction, anything smaller would be an insult to the amount of work you have done :P

Errrr .... so what is the difference between Pack 5 and the 5.1 Pack released this morning over at Avsim? Enquiring minds would really like to know. TIA.

There was a small altercation about some of the files contained in 5.0.
It's been sorted out, and 5.0 will appear again later today.
Just pretend it never happened B)

Ah! Okay.

(But if that wasn't a tantalising, throwaway comment, I don't know what is. )
