I've been spending my time today crawling through Airliners.net today, and discovered that Vincent Aviation operate a 1900d, ZK-VAB! As far as I knew before hand, I only thought that they had a 1900c.

Does anyone know what routes this craft flys on? I've never seen it in Auckland, is it a charter aircraft?

And finally- please please please could someone paint this livery on the PMDG model? :P

Air New Zealand Link (eagle air) hires it out on some routes from Wellington. I've seen it numerous times. Just like in the Vincent Dash 8.
Anyway, can't help you with the repainting but I would really like someone to reaint it aswel.

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

The 1900C flies out of Wanganui weekdays around 7am and returns in the late evening. Its parked up overnight during the week at Wanganui. Most of Vincent operations focus around Central New Zealand lower North Island top of the South. As I understand it is part of an agreement of the lease to Air New Zealand.

You saw right Trolly... we've got 2 (or is it 3??) in Darwin, ant they're all VH- registered. It sounds like it could be a good idea for me to do a complete fleet list with photos?

Indeed. I read a great article on the Viscount camera ship they used when the 737 first arrived. NAC use to run tv adds paper advertising with the 732's over the southern alps, plus the post cards etc etc (I have some old stuff here I got as a kid I will scan and post) They took out two sets of rear windows to get the footage and stills, froze themselves to bits and the noise was horrific, but hey, did the job. The Viscount was the only thing that had a chance of keeping up at the time.

yep it was last year we did a formation takeoff in the 406 (ZK-VAA) with the door off with VAB beside, then later on VAC formated alongside too. I really can't see the ugly side of 1900's, perhaps its because i've seen the rewards of operating them as opposed to a better looking but quite frankly horrendous aircraft like a J31/32 or metro. I think my dad and i figured out you could buy four J31's for the price of one 1900D, but it's just not worth it...
theres my 2 cents worth.. or shoud that be $2?
