As Trolly announced in the NZFF Birthday Newsletter, as part of the celebrations for NZFF reaching 1 year old, it is my pleasure to announce the inaugural Forum Field Airshow.

Many hours of work have gone into putting together what we feel will be an incredibly special event for FSX online flyers, which is scheduled for the last weekend in April.

Full details on the show, the aircraft featured and how YOU will be part of the action can be found HERE

If you have specific questions about your involvement please PM me, do not post them on this thread.

Have a great month everyone, see you at the show.

I've applied as well, should be a good event. Though I'm disappointed at the omission of the Piper Cub :(

First we need to finalize pilots, and skins are still being completed but once they are a CD will be sent to pilots as the total file size (scenery/aircraft) is in excess of 250 MB. Its all on the web page, and very important people read all the info on how this will work

Most likely we will release the scenery files early so people can practice, a good alternative is Hamilton as its about the same size runway wise.

Will wait and see who our final pilot list is Ian re overseas guys (let Nik know about the Harvard), broadband may be an option however 255MB is a hell of a file to host, hence CD easier all round. I will be down in chch again the week after Easter so will catch up and bring some CD's with me so you can distribute to the local guys (Jimmy, Hamish etc) and a few spare.

As the web page said, any donations to help cover our postage costs are gratefully received, internet banking makes such arrangements pretty straight forward.

AUCKLAND - I will be in Auckland next weekend, if someone is prepared to be a CD Distributor I will provide as many as we need so they can be distributed locally face to face, how u do that is up to you. If anyones up for it PM me and we can make arrangements, it will save me a few $$'s in postage etc. ( Shhhh, :ph43r: I work for New Zealand Post so you didn't hear me say that)

Hi Team

Its going to be an amazing event........Jon, David and others have put in countless hours putting this together......It will be a real treat.

I need PM's from people listing their 3 aircraft options ASAP!!!! Spaces are limited, and filling up very, very fast.

Beaware that the pilot roster has not been finalised as yet, so it is unwise the make announcements about what aircraft you think you'll be in, as that simply may not end up being the same aircraft you'll be flying.

Please don't post your aircraft options on the Forum, PM me with your aircraft picks.

A big thanks to everyone for their interest so far

Looking forward to seeing you all at 'Forum Field' :D >nzflag<

A huge thank you to Jon and the team putting this together, I think it's gonna be a really great event!

Unfortunately I don't have FSX, so I am going to be relying on all of you to post screenies and videos here at NZFF for the fs2004-only junkies to see ;)
